The $2,000,000 baby...

Take a good, long look... Here she is....
The $2,000,000 baby!
(And that's just what the insurance company paid!)

We got the call 2 weeks ago today that Olivia had met her lifetime maximum. I stressed out about it for about 2 days and then realized, there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. We knew it was coming and it was really out of our control (like pretty much everything in our lives these days ;)
Anyway, I didn't mention it because I was afraid of what all you crazy people may try to do. And then, lo and behold, I had actually kind of forgotten about it! But, just to ease everyone's mind, I thought I would pass along that it is all taken care of. There are a few angels in Olivia's life that have spent many, many hours trying to get things worked out and they were able to do it! Starting on August 1, she will be covered by AllKids and until then, the Department of Specialized Care for Children will pick up the rest! Even though healthcare costs in the U.S. seem to be outrageous, it's nice to live in a country that is able to help when families get into situations like this.

Julie,

So glad this is all worked out. It is wonderful when you have the answer to how it's going to work. God is so good, and so are so many people he has given to help us. It is truly all in His hands. Trusting that is sometimes hard but he does prove it over and over again. You're in our prayers. Kathy

Olivia isn't a $2,000,000 baby, she is priceless! :-) and that picture proves it! We will continue to pray for her and your whole family.

Dear Chatterton family,
I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how beautiful Olivia is. I have been kept up to date from a friend of mine who checks online on Olivia frequently. She has a daughter with some current challenges as well. Just know that God has a plan, and that the love you have for your daughter, and family, is more than any amount of money in the world. God is giving you a test, and she is the so sweet. Keep your chins up, love each other, and never forget that many people (some you may not know)are praying for you all on a daily basis.
God Bless you!

Is that why Olivia never has clothes on? You spent all your money on keeping her alive? :-)

It's wonderful to see her finally smiling & playing.

Hi!
I have been so busy lately I have not had a chance to check on your blog but I have asked Nicole how Olivia is doing. She told me I had to check your blog today to see the pictures of Olivia because she is doing "AWESOME!!"
She looks beautiful and sooo happy! I am thrilled for Olivia, you and your entire family! You all are amazing and I will continue to keep your family in my prayers! Enjoy the sunny day!

Julie,

This is so awesome! I am sitting in my office with a great big goofy grin on my face. Absolutely thrilled with the pictures and grateful for the resources that have come your way. We are keeping Olivia in our daily prayers and Mikane has started adding her to his prayers, too. :)

Hugs,

AWHHH love the pics of little Olivia...what a cutie pie. Such a happy face in a place that is hard to smile (at least I have that issue in hospitals...lol). :)
