Dr. Al just came in from St. Jude. Her bone marrow showed 10% blasts. This is a bit more than her last biopsy showed. 20% is considered Acute Myeloid Leukemia. So, it would seem that we are still in limbo. If she still requires frequent platelet transfusions, he would like to begin treatment immediately. The problem for us: Her platelets were 49,000 on Monday, 51,000 on Tuesday, and 59,000 today without any transfusions. If they continue to improve on their own, it could buy us some time - treat in 6 months to a year. Only time will tell, so what's new!

Give that girl a kiss for me! Sounds like an interesting day for everyone. I'm glad you got some new info about her marrow and waht an interesting situation with her heart. I'm glad she's all done and waking up!
Good to hear she's doing well. Maybe we should start placing bets on what curveball Olivia will throw at her dr's.
Everything went fine here. Jack's muddy but that's to be expected. His teacher told them they had to go outside & enjoy the day & he took that to heart. Ethan would have been fine playing Mario Kart all afternoon but Jack insisted on swinging or baseball. I sided with Jack ;-)
Glad to hear that everything went well, and Olivia didn't throw them too many curves. We'll pray that tonight is uneventful and both you and Olivia get a good, quiet night's sleep!
Thanks for all the updates, we will keep the prayers coming. Kay
