Peaceful night.

Olivia had a very peaceful night. Her numbers are all wonderful this morning. The plan is to lift the paralytic today and see what she does. I assume they will turn it off after rounds today. It usually takes her a good 8-10 hours before it is completely out of her system. They will try to manage her comfort with sedation and see how she tolerates that.
Thank you so much for all of the prayers and good thoughts. We are truly feeling them right now and have great peace with God's plan for Olivia. We are truly amazed by all of the people who love Olivia and have been touched by her!

To the entire Chatterton Family - Please know that I am thinking and praying for all of you. Sweet, sweet Olivia is such a fighter. She has touched the hearts of so many. I thank you for continuing to share your story, as I am constantly checking on her through the blog. Keep up the good fight.

Prayer for Olivia-
Heavenly Father, You are intimately aware of the struggles Olivia and her family are experiencing -- the pain and the despair. You know the desire of her heart to be healed of this illness. I ask now for Your healing touch. I know that You are able and that just like in Bible times, You can heal Olivia.

“I also understand that You will chose what is best for her. I know through this trial, Olivia and her family will draw even closer to You -- that You will be their comfort and strength. I pray that ultimately, whatever happens, You will be glorified through her. I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen.”

God is good. Wendi, PIC RN

I'm thrilled that Miss "O" had a peaceful night. I hope you guys got a little sleep too! I'm sure it's hard to walk away from her for even a moment. You have not been far from my thoughts or prayers today.

This morning I read Psalm 23 and replaced very "me" and "I" with "Olivia." Such a comfort, maybe it will help you, too.
