Slow and steady

They are drawing blood gases on Olivia every hour or so and her numbers are very slowly but surely heading in the right direction. Everyone seems to have a hint of a smile on their faces when they look at her numbers. They have even been able to wean down a bit on her vent settings which is great. It's funny to think how these little itty bitty baby steps seem so huge today. You're prayers are working in miraculous ways. You have no idea the peace that has settled upon us. Thank you so much. Really.

Whew...I hope things keep moving in the right direction. I have not moved from the computer since I read your last post. I feel out of breath just sitting here. Still Praying.

Okay...breathing a little easier now! I've got our prayer warriors praying on the east coast! I'll be hitting the refresh button on my computer for the rest of the night! That's for keeping us posted! Just know that we're praying and we love you!

Praying for steady improvements!I'm so sorry for what you are all going through...no one should have to make such choices! Squeeze sweet little Olivia's hand for me and let her know everyone's pulling for her!

God is love. That is what I keep thinking. God IS LOVE and he loves Olivia more than anything we can ever fathom or imagine. He is holding her in his tender loving care right now and has the perfect plan for her life as hard as it may be for us to understand.
We are praying for your family right now - for peace, for strength (which you always seem to show an overabundance of!), and for patience. The Baxter's

Oh my, we will pray even harder....keeping the picture in mind of Olivia, Julie, Zac, Jack and Brooklyn being held in His gentle, strong hands.

My heart goes out to you . YOur daughter is beautiful.
We just experienced , in the past two weeks, watching our dear son on/then off/then on the vent.
Watching the oxygen saturation numbers and holding hands. So the image is so fresh and real.

God is near. God loves your sweet girl.
May God heal Olivia .
